The Bridgewater Hospital, Manchester opened in June 2006 and quickly needed a range of written materials to promote particular services. Health screening services targeted at specific age groups was a new marketing approach and this needed to be reflected in the leaflets.
The Manchester Children's Burns Camp
was established nearly 25 years ago, and provides practical and psychological support to children and young people who have received burn injuries. Organised by a team of volunteers, whose backgrounds range from nurses to fire officers, the charity relies entirely on public donations to provide two camps a year for the patients who have been treated at on the Burns Unit at Booth Hall Children's Hospital. Their charity leaflet highlights the importance of the work they do, using real experiences of both the staff who run the camps and the young people who have benefited.
The Equality & Diversity Division
for Central Manchester & Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust needed help compiling their multidisciplinary team Annual Report. We were able to bring together the reports from a number of different service delivery staff and present a final document that was informative and insightful.
