The New Children's Hospital Appeal
aimed to raise £20million towards providing new equipment and parental accommodation for Manchester's new paediatric centre of excellence, which opened in the summer of 2009. An extra-busy time of fundraising between 2007 and 2009 meant that their already hard-working team needed an extra pair of hands to help liaise with the media during high profile events - and Word of Mouth Associates were happy to help!

In the summer of 2009 four hospitals within Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
where relocated to new facilities on a central Manchester site. This meant that over a thousand staff were saying goodbye to their familiar place of work; amid the excitement of moving to improved facilities for patients were the happy memories of times gone by.
Word of Mouth Associates worked closely with staff of all grades to arrange small and personal opportunities for current and past employees to share their experiences and celebrate the fantastic work they had achieved over the years.
